TLC's Emerging Leaders process empowers new managers with foundational high-performing leadership skills, transforming them into leaders with high-performing tactics and habits. 

We support individuals stepping into their leadership with a proprietary coaching plan where they contextualize high-performing leadership habits with peer support and under the watchful guidance of an executive leadership coach, equipping them with the skills of a high-performing, thriving leader. 

Our Thought Process:

Research indicates that 60% of new managers fail within their first two years, resulting in high turnover rates and struggling teams (Source: CEB Global). Burnout consumes 53% of those who succeed, contributing to additional turnover and decreased productivity (Source: Microsoft WorkTrend Index).

How We Help:

To build effective, high-performing leaders, new managers must integrate their authentic leadership style—gained as rising stars—with essential day-to-day skills to be the most effective leader. This holistic and skill-focused approach ensures they can fulfill their leadership responsibilities without compromising their well-being.

How We’re Different:

TLC's Emerging Leaders coaching process is uniquely designed to cultivate lasting habits by leveraging our experiential learning with coaching. Participants practice vital leadership skills in a safe environment, resulting in confident, experienced, and capable leaders who can navigate complex workplace scenarios with ease.

How It Works:

The TLC Emerging Leaders process is a two-year program featuring highly interactive group and 1-on-1 coaching led by an intentionally-matched certified coach and master facilitator over a 9-month program per year. Participants engage in skill-building exercises within a supportive atmosphere, fostering connections and collective growth while addressing real-world challenges that drive optimal performance and business success. This unique blend of group and 1-on-1 coaching gives the best of both worlds ensuring skills are retained and implemented.

We do this for individuals in a yearly nine-month-long program with the goals of:

YEAR 1

  • Building off of your foundational leadership habits & skills

  • Articulating needs & goals for self and others with confidence

  • Identifying well-being habits & accountability measures of high performing leaders

  • Mastering the high performance communication toolkit

  • Preparing yourself to lead effectively, efficiently while thriving

YEAR 2

  • Building off of your foundational leadership habits, skills & tactics

  • Learning what you need to be an energetically regulated high-performing leader who handles ambiguity, failure, & challenges with grace

  • Developing habits to deal with stress, emotions & conflict in the workplace

  • Delivering feedback and garnering influence as a highly regulated leader
